Nonsense Sayings ~Sailing Cats?Sailing Cats? Now my mind is really boggling! Can you imagine what the world would be like if we had sailing cats floating around our water ways and air space?
Some people have enough problems with cats running amok in our neighbourhoods but just imagine if we had them sailing on water or through the air too. On water, through the air…imagine the problems for Port authorities and air traffic controllers around the world? My mind is mewling at the thought.
I wonder what language would have to be used to give directions as the international language for air traffic control around the world is English. How would we be likely to deal with air-borne sailing cats? Can’t you just see the fur flying already?
Besides, anyone who has ever tried stopping a cat from digging in their newly dug garden knows that cat’s don’t understand the language. They go on body language and if someone looks threatening then they are definitely someone who needs to be paid attention to. But they still don’t actually understand the words. Probably just as well because many times they aren’t repeatable anyway. Just ask anyone who has had to garden after a cat has deposited their leavings.
OK, much of this is absolute nonsense but when people type into a search engine asking for information on sailing cats they forget that Google is simply an algorithm and can’t distinguish between the animal and the shortened version of catamaran. May I politely suggest it would be a good idea not to take too many shortcuts like these with your own sailing because we would like you to sail back here and share our nonsense again. |
